Since you have a 4-series you should be just fine installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11367 without having to cut into your fascia. • While we and Curt have not heard of any issues with the rear sensors on your 2012 BMW 428i coupe for trailer hitch # C11367, take a look at the picture I have included showing an underside shot of the hitch installed on a vehicle. If the sensors are behind that center section of the hitch then they will be blocked by the hitch. If you plan on doing any towing the correct ball mount to use is # C45521.
